Falling steel frame

This animation shows the use of the nonlinear transient solver together with nonlinear contact analysis. The steel frame is dropped from a specified height and the response on the spring-dampers is monitored. The force-extension behaviour of the spring-damper is itself nonlinear.

A displacement vs time graph was produced to observe the response of the system.
