G+D Computing Re-Brands to Strand7 Pty Ltd

New offices to support company growth

AUSTRALIA, Sydney, 7 January 2005 - G+D Computing Pty Ltd, an Australian developer of state-of-the-art engineering analysis software, today announced that as of 10 January 2005, it will be known as Strand7 Pty Ltd.

The name change is designed to accurately reflect the principal focus of the company and its intended future directions, namely the continual development and support of the company's Strand7 Finite Element Analysis Software. It also acknowledges the increasing recognition and awareness of the Strand7 software, especially internationally (Europe and Asia).

"We have experienced strong growth in the number of Strand7 users worldwide in the past two years and consequently Strand7 is now a well-recognised brand," said Gerard Caré, managing director, Strand7 Pty Ltd. "This has given us the confidence to focus our activities on further Strand7 development to appeal to an even larger worldwide market, and to promote Strand7 in new markets such as the USA."

Coinciding with the name change, the company has also relocated to new and larger premises. The new premises are intended to accommodate the company's expected growth over the medium term. The new office is located at:
