Import ANSYS File: Nodal Loads

Description

ANSYS uses F to apply force and moment loads to nodes according to the nodal coordinate systems. Strand7 assigns the force and moment loads as node force and node moment attributes according to the global Cartesian coordinate system.

ANSYS uses FCUM to specify the accumulation method for force and moment load values. Strand7 references the accumulation method when forces and moments are applied to degrees of freedom which have been previously assigned a value.

ANSYS uses FSCALE to scale previously defined force and moment values in the node set defined by NSEL. Strand7 applies the scaling factor to node force and node moment attributes assigned to the nodes defined by the current node set.

Axisymmetric Elements

Strand7 divides all force and moment loads applied to the nodes of axisymmetric elements by 2p radians.
