Edge Attributes: Attachment

Description

Assigns edge attachment attributes to selected geometry edges.

When the geometry is automeshed, plates created along the geometry edge will inherit the edge attachment attribute (see Plate Attributes: Edge Attachment).

After automeshing, attachment attributes transferred to elements are used by the Attach Parts tool to create attachment links between elements. If the tool is not executed, attachment attributes have no effect.

Attachment attributes are independent of load and freedom cases.
