Import ANSYS File: Coordinate Systems

Description

ANSYS defines rectangular, cylindrical, spherical and toroidal coordinate systems via LOCAL, CLOCAL and CS. The defined coordinate system is set as the active coordinate system. Straus7 posts these coordinate systems as new user-defined coordinate systems with the default title "ANSYS UCS N".

ANSYS uses CSYS to set a previously defined coordinate system as the active coordinate system. Straus7 sets the equivalent user-defined coordinate system as the active coordinate system.

Default Coordinate Systems

Straus7 creates three additional user-defined coordinate systems to match the default ANSYS coordinate systems with the default titles "ANSYS Global Cylindrical XY", "ANSYS Global Spherical" and "ANSYS Global Cylindrical ZX".
