ST7-R3.20.40.9 Fluid Level in Soil Models
Strand7 accounts for the effect of fluid in the analysis of soils during the calculation of in-situ stress. It also considers the fluid stress (pore pressure) under external loading, which is reported with other quantities such as soil stress and strain, pore pressure and excess pore pressure. This Webnote focuses on the saturated soil model and the influence of the fluid level in soil modelling.
