This Webnote outlines procedures to model a concrete foundation and the embedded reinforcement.
The layout of the reinforcement is shown in the following cut-away view of the foundation.
Two possible methods to construct the model are discussed.
Choose File/New and create a new model.
Use the Nmm unit system.
Choose File/Import and import Foundation with rebar.igs.
Clean the geometry (Tools/Clean/Geometry) and display the wireframe (View/Entity Display).
