ST7-1.40.70.17 Multi-Cylinder Engine Vibration Analysis
Vibration from multi-cylinder engines can be modelled in Strand7 by using the Harmonic Response solver. This Webnote is a continuation of ST7-1.40.70.16 Motorcycle Engine Vibration Analysis, which develops the basic loading from a single cylinder reciprocating engine. These methods are applied to a V8 engine to determine the response of the surrounding structure to the engine vibration.
