Description

Scale pixel-based graphical symbols with icon size

If set, graphical symbols such as nodes, attributes, line thickness, etc., are scaled proportionally to the Icon and Font size set in Preferences: Graphical User Interface.

For example, a 1-pixel wide line for Small Icons becomes 1.5 pixels wide for Medium Icons, 2.0 pixels wide for Large Icons, and so on. This option produces better graphics when using the larger Icon and Font sizes on high-resolution monitors.

Auto-highlight entities for retrieval

If set, the candidate entity for value retrieval via Strand7 Interface: Hot Pointer, or other mode is highlighted as the mouse cursor hovers over the entity – this is to signify which entity will be selected upon clicking the mouse.

For example, while inserting an element via Insert: Element, the node, vertex or grid number is highlighted as the mouse cursor moves over them.

If not set, no candidate entity feedback is given as the mouse hovers over an entity.

Use factory defaults

Sets all settings to the factory defaults. This function is available by clicking the VISUAL TAB header.
