Beam Attributes: Heat Source

Description

Assigns an internal heat source or heat sink to selected beam elements.

Applicable only to heat transfer analysis. 

A positive heat source models uniform heat generation over the entire volume of the element. A negative heat source is equivalent to a heat sink.

The heat source can be scaled as a function of time and/or temperature.

Heat source attributes are load case dependent.
