Description

Rebuilds geometry facets for graphical rendering, replacing current facets with new ones.

Facets for the graphical rendering of geometry faces are generated as needed, including when first importing geometry and after a face is modified by a geometry tool.

The discretization (or accuracy) of the graphical representation of a particular face depends on the dimensions of the face with respect to the overall model dimensions. To avoid excessively refined discretizations, smaller faces may appear more faceted compared with larger faces. If some of the larger faces are deleted from the model so as to reduce the overall model dimensions, it might be desirable to re-discretize the remaining faces so that they are represented with a finer resolution (as they are now larger compared with the overall model size).
